Buteyko Breathing Exercises - How to Do It?
Dear our readers. My name is Sergey Georgiyevich Altukhov. I am the disciple and the firm follower of the great Russian scientific physiologist Konstantin Buteyko since 1987. In November of far 1987 in snow-covered Novosibirsk - in its scientific town, first-ever Buteyko breathing Centre was opened! I lived then in this Novosibirsk scientific town. My wife was the pupil of Buteyko. He rescued her from of the death. Therefore already in 1987 I was the supporter of the disgraced scientist. And the Soviet medicine at that time subjected to disgrace of Buteyko Breathing Method.
The supporter of Great Discovery of Diseases of Deep Breath (Buteyko Discovery) it to be good. But to be immediate follower of the great scientist is even better! In November, 1987 in Novosibirsk the scientific town first-ever Buteyko breathing Centre opened. And already through a half of year (in June, 1988) I began to work in this Center! I was then 35 years old … Great Buteyko rescued my wife Lyudmila Sokolskaya from the death. She literally was dieing fro of of wild osteochondrosis and painful pains of a backbone … The official medicine totaled at her 25 incurable diseases. Among them there was a terrible anemia, heavy pyelonephritis, terrible headaches. Heartaches. And so on.
In 1988 I was the young writer. Author of three books. The wife took me to Great Buteyko. Also told
- Konstantin, my husband wants to write the good documentary novel about your Discovery and about Buteyko Breathing Method.
Great Buteyko answered:
- Only my Buteyko practitioner can write such novel … Let your husband go to work in our Buteyko breathing Centre. Also will become the good methodologist of Buteyko.Then he will write the good documentary novel about Buteyko Breathing Method.
And I began to work for Buteyko. At first by methodologist. And soon he appointed me the deputy according to information and the press. In October, 1990 in all printing booths of Novosibirsk my novel - "Doctor Buteyko Discovery" was on sale. First volume. And in the second issue of the Main newspaper of Buteyko
- "Messenger Buteyko" was printed a fragment from this novel ON ALL STRIP!
Great Buteyko approved and highly appreciated this FIRST novel about his Discovery.
For creation of this novel Great Buteyko appropriated me a rank pactitioner - the auditor! This is general rank in Buteyko's movement. Only some people in the World have such document. The methodologist - the auditor has the right to check and correct the lessons of any methodologist of the World …
I called this series - Buteyko breathing exercises - how to do it - not incidentally! Great Buteyko always spoke
- My method is NOT RESPIRATORY GYMNASTICS!! It is new, a healthy lifestyle on NORMAL Buteyko breathing!! To say that my method - it is only some respiratory exercises - means to OFFEND my Discovery.
Buteyko Breathing Method it is not some breathing exercises! It is complete system of new outlook and a look in World medicine. Exercises can be different. And here my doctrine about healthy-normal-natural breath - it is only ONE! And to reduce it to respiratory gymnastics is an empty profanation! So great Buteyko spoke. Therefore in the following series we will speak not only about respiratory gymnastics, and about the Great Doctrine!! Only IT can recover you health.
