Classical Buteyko Breathing Video-Course: The Story of Creation
In final video option I finished creation of the Classical Buteyko Breating Course about nine years ago. At the beginning of 2013. But I would like to show all history of creation of a course by Buteyko Method in this small documentary article. By a method of strong-willed elimination of deep breathing.
This article is short. But history of creation of the course lasts already 65 years. Since October, 1952. Therefore I will just outline the main stages.
The first stage is an invention by the great scientific physiologist of the Buteyko Breathing Method. The beginning of this stage occurred on October 7, 1952. Konstantin P. Buteyko made grandiose medical Discovery of Diseases of Deep breathing. And on the basis of it right there invented a method of strong-willed normalization of deep breathing. First the word elimination in the name of a method was not used.
The second stage - collecting of materials for preparation of the first printing instruction of Buteyko Method. The second preparatory stage borrowed the whole twelve years. From 1952 to 1964. Only in 1964 the first appeared - only on three pages... - the first officially printed instruction. It was officially published in printing house of one of scientific institutes of the Novosibirsk City Academic town in Russia.
Hand-written underground sheets of paper it were not counted.
The third stage - extension of the official instruction by informal ways. This stage took nearly a quarter of the century. From 1964 to 1988. During the same period The Order of the Ministry of Health of the USSR (No. 591 of April, 1985) about widespread introduction of the Buteyko Breathing Method in medical practice is issued.
The fourth stage covers 1988 for 1989. This is creation of wider instruction for Buteyko practitioners. It was printed by small circulation in printing house of the Novosibirsk Academic town.
The fifth stage - 1989-1991. Creation of the commission for development most the best practical course of Buteyko Breathing Method. At this time I already held a post of the deputy of K.P. Buteyko by information, the press and promotion of the Buteyko Method in the Siberian Buteyko Centre. And at the same time I held a position of the vice-chairman of the commission on development most of the best option of the practical Buteyko Breathing Course. Konstantin P. Buteyko was the chairman.
Konstantin Buteyko charged to me to attend a practical training of all practitioners of the Siberian Centre. At least briefly to write down them on paper and on the tape recorder if it is possible. Buteyko also obliged each methodologist to give him a tape recording of them practical trainings.
Then we long chose the best option. It was the option of one of the first Buteyko Breathing practitioners in the World Klara F. Lagunova. She was my practical Teacher in Buteyko Method. And I also placed her lessons in the second volume of my documentary trilogy "Doctor Buteyko’s Discovery".
The sixth stage - borrowed from 1992 to 2003. These years left at me for practical work on improvement of personal teaching by Buteyko Breathing Method. In May, 2003 great scientific physiologist Konstantin Buteyko died.
The seventh stage - 2004 to 2012. In the absence of K.P. Buteyko certain practitioners conducted the course everyone in his own manner. The iron hand of Buteyko was not any more. And numerous violations of his will were put to use!!!
During this period I created The Practical Course which included:
a) First two volumes of my trilogy "Doctor Buteyko’s Discovery".
K.P. Buteyko approved them as an example for imitation still during lifetime.
b) Three (!) classical trainings by Buteyko Breathing Method. They were approved by the commission on the choice of the best option. And they were approved by Konstantin P. Buteyko personally.
The eighth stage - 2013-2014. During this period I already shot the main parts of Classical Video of The Practical Buteyko Breating Course.
So, for today Classical Buteyko Breating Course consists of the following files:
The first file - How to study a practical Video-Course. The sequence of studying.
The second file - The First volume of the documentary trilogy "Doctor Buteyko’s Discovery".
The third file - Classical Practical Textbook by Buteyko Breathing Method with detailed Video-Tutorials of all types of Classical training (!).
The fourth file - Classical Training No.1 (full detailed instruction) by Buteyko Breathing Method.
In the separate file also 17 examination questions by Buteyko Breathing Method are given. Answers on these questions the patients are taken from Volume 1 and Classical Practical Textbook by Buteyko Breathing Method.
The fifth file - Classical Training No.2 (full detailed instruction) by Buteyko Breathing Method.
The sixth file - Classical Training No.3 (full detailed instruction) by Buteyko Breathing Method.
Here, dear readers, is what enters an official Classical Buteyko Breating Course. From myself I will add. Only the one who will study the Course under the indispensable condition of our consultations can overcome an illness! Without control of a practitioner the effect strongly falls.
I teach people to the Classical Buteyko Method for thirty years. And here I described to you what managed to be made really in thirty years of work with Buteyko Method.
The main and gross blunder of many practitioners of the World – is teaching only Training No.3! Of course, it is far easier - to teach patients to a method of nose plugs…
But Konstantin Buteyko always said that training No.3 - it is only applied part of the Buteyko Method. On a case of sharp cold! Buteyko shouted: «Those who teach to nose plugs only are not my pupils! They are enemies of the Buteyko Method. And my personal enemies! ». K.P. Buteyko said so.
